A really good product, with the exception that the split rings which could be a more substantial. The magnets, on the other hand, are really strong, and require some force to separate them. I bought this to use as a belt loop holder for my work ID, and it does a great job.

I was a little unsure about how strong the magnet would be but I had no reason to be worried, cause it is STRONG! I bought this to use as a tether on my ageing motorcycle, as the ignition barrel and key are wearing down after almost 30 years of use and I’ve heard horror stories of other owners having their key fly out while riding down the road. I leave one half of the magnet on my key and the other attached to my handlebars. When I get on the bike it joins together without any effort from my part to align them. The magnet is so strong that I bought another to connect my bike key back onto my keyring, instead of clipping it into the carabiner I use. The magnet feels just as secure as a carabiner through a split-ring and I have 0 worries about it accidentally coming undone. Bonus points to ‘Booms’: both units I received had the same polarity, so I can interchange the male/female ends without issue. Buy this over the MagConnect or other alternatives.
