I have no knowledge of fishing!! Bought for a gift so all I can say is it arrived extremely quickly, it looks good quality, is very lightweight, compact and could be taken on days out on the boat easily. Only downside is that if it was me having to rig it all up I wouldn’t have a clue as the instructions seem pointless! I will update once it’s been gifted and I get feedback!

The media could not be loaded. I used the fishing rod and reel for the first time and the reel handle snapped after just 1 hour the reel handle is very poor quality not fit for purpose, I feel I should get a replacement reel asap

First cast the end rod section collapsed and cheap fibre glass was exposed. There are some good suppliers of this kit on Amazon, but this ain’t the one people! Avoid!! 1 star is generous, I would select negative stars if possible given the letdown my son experienced 💩
