Started fishing as a hobby bought a starter Kit. very surprised very good rod and reel. Got a few floats .shot and line.also landing net and a bank stick.that was in the kit. So all good.so you can add as you go. Reel very good smooth and easy to use rod Nice and light very good. Yes I would recommend.

2 pleased grand children and both have caught fish. As previous buyers have said the bundle is let down by the reels which are cheap and quite inferior and should be replaced in my opinion. Supplied line is very thick and not suited to the setup. Line clip broke on first use. Would be useful if the setup came with some pre tied rigs. Goods did arrive in good order and well packed, prompt delivery.

I have been using this product a few weeks and gone on around 10 fishing sessions with it. It is a good starting point for anyone wanting to get into fishing. The rod is pretty sturdy and I have had no issues with it. The reel held up better than expected but I have now replaced this as it is very small and needs too much waight to cast effectively. The floats aren't great but will see you through your first couple of trips and the bank stick is far too small. The worst item has to be the landing net, this broke on the second trip. The plastic came away from the metal making it fall apart not what you want landing anything on the bigger side. All in all if you want to try fishing but don't want to commit to anything too expensive this isn't the worst option to get going but there are better options out there.

Everything in this bundle is rubbish quality. The line on the reel is awful, the reel itself is awful, split shot just break when you push them together, slingshot is awful too, stand is okay quality wise but the actual shape of it is not ideal, the net is ok bit annoying to fold in, hooks can be bent not the best, and the waggles are awful they break easily. The rod itself is not the worst but honestly utter garbage. It will cost you more money in the long run, buy a starter kit from your local tackle shop instead.
